Annoyance and other things

For what it matters, my family is officially beyond hope.
See, there was a murder in my city a few days ago. Rather big news, a 12 year old girl with a history of dating older boyfriends, reportedly met a disturbed man on the website www.vampirefreaks.com (Basically just a goth hook-up website.) He was 23 years old, and her parents disapproved...so the two of them killed both of her parents and her ten year old brother in their sleep. I got woken up by a phone call from my sister, wanting me to call our mother because she 'hadn't heard from me in a while and was starting to freak out about this murder thing.'
Groggy and annoyed, I reminded her that it was a family that was killed. She said no, she was worried because the killer was a 23 year old man, the same age as I am. Fair enough.
Honestly, I'm not especially irked that my own mother was worried I'd snapped and killed a family. Whatever.
I'm somewhat miffed, however, because the man's name HAS been published, and my name is NOT Jason Steinke.
I'm also mildly annoyed, because I am NOT a member of the goth community. But at least I can somewhat see where she'd come up with the idea.
Most importantly, I'm -massively insulted- because I am sure as hell not dating a 12 year old.
You know what? If you honestly think that's a possibility, just stop being worried about me in the first place.
On a vastly and completely unrelated note, Jax is pregnant again. No, I don't know what to think about that, and I have nothing useful to post. All I can really do is acknowledge it and offer my quiet support. I'm still here.
